Open Iphone Simulator Mac
Debug on either an iOS device directly or debug on an iOS simulator.
Simulator Launcher builds custom executables to automatically launch an embedded iPhone Simulator application using the correct iPhone SDK. To use, drag any iPhone Simulator binary onto the 'Simulator Builder' application. This will create a new Mac OS X application that bundles and launches your iPhone Simulator application from within Mac OS X. Much like Android, there are a lot of different ways you might want to launch iOS simulators from the command line. The simplest is to use your Mac’s open command to start the Simulator directly from the file system. That approach looks like this. The basic way to open a list of simulators is to use Xcode - Window - Devices and Simulators. Here you can create and manage all available simulators. But you cannot run them directly.
- From the XCode menu, select Open Developer Tool Simulator In the dock, control (or right) click on the Simulator icon Select Options Show in Finder While holding down Command and Option, drag the Simulator icon to the applications directory.
- Open the iPhone Simulator application. You can find the alias in Contents → Applications, as shown below. For easy access to the iOS simulator in the future, drag and drop the iOS Simulator alias on to your Desktop or the Applications folder. The iOS simulator is now installed and running on your Mac, as shown below.
